🎲 The Dice
Each column contains 5 different dice you can choose from:
- d20 (20-sided die): Rolls 1–20 — biggest numbers, biggest risk!
- d12 (12-sided die): Rolls 1–12 — good middle option
- d8 (8-sided die): Rolls 1–8 — safe and steady
- d4 (4-sided die): Rolls 1–4 — small and predictable
- Coin (2-sided): Rolls 1 or 2 — the safest choice
📋 How to Play
- Start: You'll see your bunny on the left, columns of dice in the middle, and the carrot patch on the right
- The Goal: A random number is chosen that you need to reach exactly
- Choose a Die: From the current column (highlighted in yellow), select which die to roll
- Roll: Watch the beautiful dice animation as it rolls! 🎲
- Calculate: Add the rolled number to your current sum
- Enter the Sum: Type in the new total (this helps you practice addition!)
- Verify: If your math is wrong, you'll be asked to try again until correct
- Progress: The column turns into a pillar and your bunny hops forward! 🐰
- Repeat: Continue through all columns
- Win: On the last column, your sum must equal the goal exactly!
⚠️ Important Rules
- ✅ You must calculate the sum correctly after each roll
- ✅ Incorrect sums will prompt you to try again (no penalty!)
- ❌ If your sum exceeds the goal at any point, it's Game Over
- ⭐ On the last column only, you must reach the goal exactly to win
- 🎉 Your sum is added to your score after each round, win or lose!
🧠 Strategy Tips
Plan Ahead:
- Calculate how much you still need to reach the goal
- Save bigger dice (d20, d12) for when you need large numbers
- Use smaller dice (coin, d4) when you're close to the goal
Risk vs. Reward:
- d20: Great when you need 10+ points, but risky!
- d12: Balanced option for medium gaps
- d8: Safe for mid-range targets
- d4: Perfect for the final column when close
- Coin: Use on the last column when you need exactly 1 or 2!
Example Strategy:
Goal: 45, Columns: 8
Average needed per column: 45 ÷ 8 ≈ 5.6
- Early columns: Use d8 or d12 for flexibility
- Middle columns: Adjust based on current sum
- Last few columns: Switch to smaller dice as you approach the goal
- Final column: Choose the die that can land exactly on target!
🏆 Scoring & Leaderboards
- Your sum from each round is added to your total score
- Your score accumulates across multiple rounds (win or lose!)
- Separate leaderboards for each level (stored locally on your device)
- Challenge yourself to beat your high score!
